Previous Facebook Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Paul Grewal will lead crypto trade Coinbase’s lawful group.

Paul Grewal, a previous US officer judge in California and Deputy General Counsel for Facebook, is joining crypto exchange Coinbase’s legal team.

In a July 8 declaration on the Coinbase blog, the crypto exchange said the expansion of Grewal will help “prepare for the following period of crypto mindfulness and adoption.” The new Chief Legal Officer will likewise lead the legal team as Coinbase accomplices with financial services regulators, and creates and discharges new products and services.

As indicated by Coinbase, Grewal supervised in excess of a thousand cases during his five years as a judge, and “assumed critical jobs” in Apple v. Samsung and Oracle v. Google, two significant lawful cases on technology.
